- How do I sign up for classes at KEC?
Visit your high school counselor and complete the
registration form.
- When can I take classes at KEC?
High School juniors and seniors may sign up for Career
& Technical classes at Sophomore orientation.
- How many High School credits do I get for taking a
KEC class?
Students typically earn two high school credits for
successfully completing KEC course requirements for the year.
- Can I drive to my KEC class?
The home schools provide transportation to most KEC
classes. Only after receiving permission from the
KEC instructor, the home high school principal and
parent/guardian is a student allowed to drive.
Seniors in level 2 courses may have to provide their own
transportation due to the college schedule, however,
permission must still be obtained.
- Are there any fees for the KEC classes?
Certain classes require students to purchase tools
of the trade and/or safety equipment. See course descriptions
for further details.
